Who we are
Richer Road (richerroad.com) is run by Richer Road (ABN 22 693 549 847), an independent business based in New South Wales, Australia (“we”, “us”). For privacy questions or requests, email admin@richerroad.com or use our contact form.
Most small Australian businesses don’t have to follow the Privacy Act. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway, and the UK and EU GDPR where they apply to you.
What we collect
- Using the planner without saving: nothing is sent to us. The numbers stay in your browser, and your currency choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage.
- Saving your plan: your email address; the numbers you type in (income and spending, savings goals, debts, interest rates, repayments, and any bills and subscriptions you add, with their amounts, due dates and reminder choices); how often you’re paid; your currency; a daily total of what you owe and have saved, for your progress chart; and dates such as when you joined, confirmed your email, changed your email settings or asked for first access to the full plan.
- Buying the full plan: the payment reference, amount, tax and currency, and the date. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Arriving through an affiliate link: the affiliate’s code, and a record of the click (time, page, link label, device type and the site you came from). It contains nothing that identifies you.
- Signing in: a login cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 14 days.
- Contacting us: your name, email address and message. These are emailed to us and not stored on the website. We send you one automatic email to say your message arrived.
- Security: our web host and our security software record technical details such as IP address, browser type and visit times, to keep the site secure and block attacks.
We never ask for bank logins, card numbers, account numbers, identity documents, your address or your date of birth. Please don’t type them into Richer Road.
How we use it
- To show your plan on your dashboard and keep it saved.
- To email you sign-in links and, unless you turn them off, a short monthly check-in and the bill reminders you switch on.
- To tell you when the full plan opens, if you asked for first access.
- To give you the full plan if you buy it, handle refunds, and keep the purchase records tax law requires.
- To credit the affiliate who introduced you.
- To answer your messages.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don’t use your information for advertising, we don’t sell it, and we never send your numbers to any AI service or data broker. We have no arrangements with banks, lenders or financial product providers, so we never pass your details to them.
Legal bases (UK and EU visitors)
We use your information to provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep the site secure, credit affiliates and answer messages (legitimate interests), to keep purchase records (legal obligation), and for anything else only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
- Ethernet Servers, our web host, which stores the website and its database.
- Brevo, our email delivery service, which sends sign-in links, check-ins, reminders and other emails.
- Bunny.net, which hosts our explainer video. The video player loads only when you press play; Bunny.net then receives your IP address and browser details to stream it.
- Stripe and Link, if you buy the full plan. Link (Sold through Link, LLC), a Stripe service, is the merchant of record for your purchase. It handles the payment, receipt and tax under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
Each provider gets only what it needs to do its job. Affiliates see only that a sign-up or sale came through their link. They never see your email address or your numbers.
Where it’s stored
Our web host’s servers are in New Jersey, United States. Brevo and Stripe may process your information in other countries to deliver emails and payments. If that’s outside your country, the protections may differ from those at home, so we only use established providers that commit to keeping it secure.
How long we keep it
- Your saved plan: for as long as you have an account. Delete it any time from your dashboard and it’s removed straight away. Copies in our host’s routine backups disappear as those backups are replaced.
- Contact messages: in our inbox for up to 24 months.
- Purchase records: as long as tax law requires.
Cookies and local storage

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You can see, correct, download or delete your information. Most of this you can do yourself on your dashboard. For anything else, contact us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to your privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or your local data protection supervisory authority in the EU.
If something goes wrong
If a data breach puts your information at risk, we’ll tell you and the relevant regulator promptly.
Age
Richer Road is for adults aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above, and for important changes we’ll email members.
